The New Bridge Embryo Center is now open in Aiken, SC specializing in embryo transfer for polo-playing mares, as well as other sport horses.

With six leading polo stallions on offer to clients, the New Bridge Embryo Center has some of the best tried and tested bloodlines of the polo world available to owners wishing to breed their active polo playing mares during downtime at the center.

Embryo Transfer is not a modern phenomenon - the first embryo transfer was conducted in a goat in 1937. However, it is now an effective and financially feasible tool of reproduction in horses. In recent years techniques have been perfected through extensive embryo transfer operations implemented by polo breeders in Argentina. Success rates have increased making embryo transfer a viable method for polo players with access to these facilities. In the Argentine Open - the world's premier polo tournament - it is possible to find daughters, mothers and grandmothers playing on the same field.

With the opening of the New Bridge Embryo Center in Aiken, South Carolina, owners of horses performing in the United States have easy access to that expertise. The Center is operated by resident Argentine vets who have first hand experience of the successful embryo transfer programs in Argentina.
